Why Complete the Pre-Athletic Training Program at Indiana State?

If your educational and career goals include applying to a graduate program in Athletic Training, then Indiana State’s Athletic Training Program is a great first step.

Begin Your Professional Journey

You will be assigned a preprofessional advisor, who will help you develop a strategy for completing prerequisites, identifying an appropriate major, and navigating the application process for graduate school.

During your second or third semester of study, you will select a major field of study (degree program). A faculty advisor is then assigned to help you develop a plan to meet Indiana State University’s degree requirements for that major.

Important: You are encouraged to contact the department chair (Dr. John Pommier, 812-237-4065, John.Pommier@soongshinkid.com) for clarification about this pre-professional program
